Your Community Association is a group of volunteers who work very hard to make your community a great place to live!
Here is what membership in the Millican Ogden Community Association gives you:
- Many Events are held year round at MOCA bringing people together with Community Day Carnival, Family Skate Day, Jelly Bean dances, Loonie swim, Parade of Garage Sales, Stay and Play programs, to have some fun.
- Keeping you up to date on issues, activities, programs and services that are happening in the Millican Ogden Community.
- MOCA supports a terrific Community Hall for meetings and events, and Outdoor Pool and Arena.
- Your Community Association influences transportation, roads, parks, playground development, and traffic issues. The City of Calgary and the MOCA confer on these issues.
- MOCA volunteer Board reps speak for the Community on regional issues such as major parks, major infrastructure projects in the area or social issues.
- Through Community memberships, grants, casinos and special events, the MOCA raises funds to provide programs, services and maintain Community facilities.
- Your membership supports Millican Ogden Community volunteers in activities that represent our best interests, ensuring this remains a great place to live.
- Individuals of the MOCA take pride in their Community and strive to improve the quality of life for themselves and neighbours.
- Toole Peet Insurance provides special group rates for MOCA members. Call Normand at 245-1177.
- Your memberships gives you discounts on Hall rentals, activities and events and on family swim passes to name a few.
Millican Ogden Community Association Memberships support the day-to-day operations of the Community Association and can be bought year-round by one of the following methods:
- In the Community Association office by cheque or cash (phone 279-3973)
- By mail. Just fill in the membership application form and mail it to the address provided with a cheque payable to the Millican Ogden Community Association.
